If there's any loading time that needs fixing, and i mean "REALLY!!" needs fixing is this damned N4G website.
Absolutely frustrating, plus it freezes for a very long while!
I think a lot of reviewers should just shut-up with their nostalgic preferences ( mostly to Nintendo products ) and actually give this award to who deserves the best.. and rightly so it should be to XBox360, this is not bias it's just the truth.
I only shortly had a Nintendo 64, bought it because it had the best and most intuitive control pads during those times.
Still do think even now I highly rate those pads as one of the best.
Reason I sold it, most games are just too kids stuff.
As a stand alone console though *PS3 should be there in the lists'.
Have you ever seen a real car being driven by motion-sensor???
Don't think so.
I really and honestly believe there is only one hardware that works with the GT5 besides default control pad that comes with any console and that is the ***steering wheel.
Plus there is this thing connected to this type of game - feel.. feel of the road, the turns, impacts and crashes.
They look like they came off a Tomb Raider game..
..and please please please N4G do fix your website!!
Loading time and add to that it freezes afterward is just absolutely ridiculous and frustrating!!
The game doesn't suck but the sport of NASCAR does., it's just got to be the most pointless motorsport event ever.
Still one of the best games on the XBox360., will be waiting in anticipation about the story behind Marcus's father turning to the darkside...
I hope it's something like iRacing or even SimBins GTR FIA GT championships which can only be a good thing for the PS3.
This is still *speculation but I'm hearing that it could be around **May..
..which if true is very very good considering their previous announcement of a delayed release of November.
Am very much sure we'll all be seeing a few in-game night scene race clip sometime soon.
Spectacular screenshots, especially like the one in the cabin.
P.S. Do have a frustrating complaint against "N4G website" taking too bloody long to load up ( simply freezes for a long couple of seconds ).
C'mon now fix it, it wasn't like this a few months back.
I actually prefer the grittiness of Gears of War than the somewhat clinical Halo, but that's just me.
They said it's going to be November of 2010 from previous original March release date.
Do hope they can even shorten the time frame...
Honestly I think 3D tech is meant for gaming and works hand-in-hand with computer graphic images, they just complement each other very very well.
It will definitely take gaming to a new level and the progression will be felt positively.
I don't even mind wearing 3d glasses.. putting one on will be second nature, like wearing shades.
It won't be like the past with those cheap red and blue 3d cardboard ones.
There's still time to put in more concept cars like new Porsche 918 Spyder hybrid, Alfa Romeo 2uettottanta and production cars like Audi RS5, hot hatches like Citroen DS3 Racing, Volkswagen Polo GTI, Audi A1 S-line..
.. and please more tracks whether it be tarmac, dirt, snow, mud.
Would love to see very long mountain pass routes included.
Aesthetically XBox do need to design a better ( and smaller ) unit { with all forms of connectivity at the back except for front earphones }, but nothing too radical as it still has to sit next to your surround sound amplifier and blu-ray/dvd units.. in some it's their PC and laptops.
Nothing like that picture above especially.. or anything that resemble a blob of some sort.
I knew this was coming soon to PS3.. can't wait to see how it will be like., also hope the 3D glasses that we got from watching the Avatar movie works in conjunction with this upgrade.
Don't believe you need to upgrade your HDTV nor buy a new 3D specific HDTV.
Very good new for PS3 owners.
I'm sure a lot of ( only ) XBox360'ers out there are very very jealous by now.. unless you own both consoles ( like me )
I really really hope they can release this game much sooner than said delayed November date..
..also by then "all" cars will have damage-mode ability.
Very much all our wishes are coming true ( a very different and more simulated type of feel with the races - especially when using steering wheel as clearly shown with last GT5 Nissan 370 demo, night races, damage mode, WRC Series, FIA and Japan Super GT cars, TopGear test track etc.. ).
Only missing bits ...
Here's another link my GT5 friends - ( http://www.youtube.com/watc... ).
Spectacular!
Puzzles - that's the only good point of a Tomb Raider/Lara Croft game, the rest ( intuitive gameplay/character moves and control pad set-up ) have not really progressed a lot.
I concur.
Tops on you PS3.. Uncharted2, Heavy Rain, God of War3
.. and the best is yet to come - 3D update, GT5..
